Đây là một cuốn sách chuyên khảo được trình bày về một lĩnh vực phân tích phi tuyến hoàn toàn mới và có tính ứng dụng cao. Cuốn sách bao gồm lý thuyết về các hệ không trơn mô tả sự ràng buộc giữa nguồn vào và nguồn ra. Nội dung của cuốn sách cũng trình bày các phương pháp khác nhau cho các ứng dụng trong toán học và vật lý. Trọng tâm đặc biệt của cuốn sách là hiện tượng rơ le với trễ, mạch điện với diode phi tuyến, và hệ thống sinh học có ràng buộc.
